Subsidy to boost business
According to the government's plan, capital subsidy of 25% of project cost will be given. While SC-ST farmers will get 33 per cent subsidy. However, this subsidy will be given only on 10 animals. For an animal, the government has made provision of 17 thousand 750 for general farmers and 23 thousand 300 animal husbandry for SC-ST farmers.
Youth will be trained
Special efforts are being made to set up marketing in other states for consumption and consumption of milk as per the cost of milk for the farmers and youth associated with dairy farming by the government. The youth will be trained to connect the youth with the beneficial occupations of the dairy.
Dairy can also start with two animals
Under the Dairy Entrepreneurship Development Scheme, only two animals can be started from the dairy unit. They are also given subsidy under this scheme. A grant of Rs 35 thousand is given to 2 Veterinary Dairy Unit. While grants-in-aid of Rs 46,600 to SC-ST farmers is given. This will help people of every class in the business.
