CENTRAL GOVERNMENT HAS ANNOUNCED 3 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR FARMERS OF GUJARAT
The central government has announced 3 major crops for farmers of Gujarat, which can improve the future of farmers. Central Government has disbursed a grant of Rs 628 crore to farmers of groundnut cultivation in Gujarat. Farmers' bank accounts could be deposited in the next two to three days in which 254 centers of groundnut were sold. Apart from this, the government has also announced the purchase of Rayado and Chana.
Agriculture Minister RC Faldu gave the information of the central government's announcement. He said that the central government has taken note of our occasional representations regarding the issue of groundnut. The government has approved the purchase of Raya and Chana. The central government has started selling peanuts at 254 centers, of which payments of 450 crore were pending, and in respect of the payment, the Indian government has disbursed 628 crore rupees. The farmers' peanuts were bought and paid for as much as they paid, according to them, in the next two-three days they would get their money. So, the central government has said that Chana and Rayna will be bought. It said that 90 thousand metric tonnes of Rayado and 80 thousand metric tonnes of chana would be bought. Chana and Rayda will be discussed with various agencies. The purchase will be started shortly.
The decision taken by the central government is in the interest of farmers. This decision will directly benefit the farmers of Gujarat. Thus, this step has been taken by the government for not allowing farmers to sell their farm produce at a low price. The information was given by the state government in connection with the release of the grant from the Central Government.
