CHIEF MINISTER APPRENTICES BHARTI MELA  2018 - 19 SEE
The state government of Gujarat has become an entrepreneur to increase the enthusiasm in Skilling as an important agenda in its command. In all its first steps have been strongly linked to the main principle of "Sobka Saha, Subba Vikas". The state plans to set up its Skill Development National Skill Development Mission (NSDM). The geographical, demographic and social profile of Gujarat presents a unique opportunity for economic development in the face of human power.

There are a number of roadmap training programs in the state through state government schemes. Industry interactions have shown that there are challenges related to quality of employees rather than quantity. There is serious consideration for related issues related to quality issues. But regional variations have been seen in skill requirements. An increase in the participation of the industry to meet the quality expectation is essential. Permanent and well planned interventions for providing platforms to train trainees have already been undertaken to directly engage in the principles of industry, which will enhance the training and improve the quality of the training.

The main beneficiaries of these main schemes are those industries which will contribute to the implementation of Apprenticeship Training Scheme. They will be encouraged for their initiative. Under this scheme, apprentices apprentices will also be benefitted by the active involvement of training industries.

About 8 government departments are involved in skill training in Gujarat. MATSA has brought all these departments under one umbrella and has sought active participation in attending maximum goals in apprenticeship training in different fields and sectors.

MATS has adopted a holistic approach similar to the NAPS. It does not only involve training in the manufacturing sector but also in various service areas. By this, the trainees lead broad horizons for apprenticeship training.

The Directorate of Employment and Training (DET), Gujarat Government, is entering the entrance process for private and public enterprises ITI colleges in Gujarat state. All the candidates, who have completed secondary or senior secondary education from recognized or recognized Central Board of Secondary Education, can apply online by visiting DET, Gujarat's official website. Candidates should submit a filled-in application form on or before the due date.
