RBI 2018 EXAM HOW WILL SELECTION
RRB 2018 Exam: Railway is going to offer massive jobs soon. Of the 90 thousand posts in which it is going to be examined, 26,502 posts are Group-C ie Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and technician. The rest of the post is for Group D. For this, about three and a half million candidates have applied. Here we are telling the complete process of selection on Technician's post:
This will be the process of selection on the Technician Post in Railway:
1. First Stage CBT (Computer Based Test)
2. Second-level CBT
3. Document Verification.
First Stage CBT
75 questions will be asked in 60 minutes at CBT of the first stage. To qualify for the exam, the general category candidates must earn a minimum of 40%, OBC candidates will get minimum 30%, SC to minimum 30% and ST candidates will get minimum 25% marks. In this, questions related to Maths, Reasoning, General Science and GK-Carter Affair will be asked. Only qualified people will get the opportunity to participate in the Second Stage CBT.
Second stage CBT
This exam will be of 150 minutes. There will be two parts in it. 90 minutes for Part A and it will have 100 questions. In order to qualify it, the general category candidates must also get minimum 40%, OBC candidates will get minimum 30%, SC to minimum 30% and ST candidates will get minimum 25% marks. Part A has questions related to Maths, Reasoning, General Science and GK-Carter Affair.
60 minutes will be given for Part B A total of 75 questions will be asked in this.
To qualify Part B, all categories of candidates will have to get 35% marks. The questions of trade syllabus in Part B will be seen from the website of Directorate of Employment and Training (DGET). Only qualification in this test will be necessary. When merit is created, its marks will not be joined.
Will there be negative marking in the Railway Examination?
Yes, there will be negative marking in both the first and second stages. For each wrong answer a third digit will be deducted. That is, one wrong digit will be cut when three wrong answers. There will be no negative marking in the computer based aptitude test.
Selection on Merit List in Railway Examination
Successful candidates will be called for document verification on the basis of merit list. There will be no interview in this.
